A Message to our Patrons
Concerning COVID19
Based on the guidance of the provincial and federal governments, along with the Chief Medical Officer of Canada, Over the Rainbow Children’s Entertainment is suspending the remaining two performances for this season.
While disappointing for our passport holders and volunteer committee, the health and safety of our entire community – patrons, volunteers, artists, and staff - is paramount, making this the only responsible course of action. Rest assured we will return as soon as possible with our 2020/2021 season!
Such closures have significant consequences for creative artists and cultural organizations, already operating on razor-thin margins. As theatres around the world are forced to close, we count on you, our loyal supporters, to stand by us as we deal with the eventualities that present themselves.
We ask that passport holders DO NOT call the Box Office until you hear from us. We welcome you to donate the balance from your passport to The Community Theatre Centre production account for a charitable tax receipt. This donation will go a long way in supporting our aim to bring exceptional theatre to our patrons from local and visiting artists.
Alternatively, we are able to credit your account for the remaining amount of the passport. This credit can be used toward next season.
On behalf of everyone at Over the Rainbow Children’s Entertainment, we thank you for your patience and understanding during this time of global uncertainty and we look forward to seeing you next season
Please keep well and stay safe.

Sandra Houston, Chair
Over the Rainbow Children’s Entertainment

*If requesting a donation please send me your mailing address to send the receipt to along with your passport number.
If requesting a credit for next season I just need your name and passport number.

Over the Rainbow Children’s Entertainment Series is Sault Ste Marie’s first live theatre series for children ages 3 and up. The shows have entertained, enchanted, and created lasting memories for many families for over 23 years.

Audiences are introduced to fantastic worlds where the imagination soars, participation is encouraged, and lessons in trust, caring and integrity are learned.

We bring quality children’s entertainers to our community audiences at an affordable price. We are a not-for-profit volunteer organization and we subsidize ticket pricing through federal, provincial, and municipal arts grants and generous local sponsors.
